AVON, Ohio (WJW) -- Avon police on Sunday, Aug. 24, plan to briefly stop motorists in both directions on Interstate 90 for a construction project, and motorists are being told to "plan ahead and expect minor delays."
The rolling stop is expected to happen at 7 a.m., near the state Route 83 bridge, and last for up to 15 minutes, according to a Friday Facebook post.
Avon police will be on-hand to stop traffic on I-90, as well as on the eastbound on-ramp "to allow the work to be completed safely."
Elsewhere in the city, Avon Road will be reduced to one lane near Nagle Road, which is under construction. That starts the following Monday, Aug. 25, according to another Friday Facebook post.
