LORAIN, Ohio (WJW) - The FOX 8 I-Team has found new developments in the case of three Lorain police officers recently shot with one killed.

The I-Team has learned what's happening with two investigations and the officers who survived. We can expect some answers soon to the many questions surrounding this case.

We've learned what else is happening with the officers who survived. Both have started on very long roads to recovery.

One month ago, police said a man shot and killed Lorain officer Phillip Wagner, and shot and wounded officers Brent Payne and Peter Gale.

Police killed the suspect, and since then, Elyria police have been looking for clues to explain what happened.

Investigators found the gunman had brought a stash of weapons and explosives waiting for officers.
