PEORIA, Ill. – Thousands of new and returning Bradley University students will be coming back to Peoria this weekend before a brand new school year.
Move-in weekend runs through Saturday on campus, with residence hall move-in Saturday and Honors move-in on Friday.
The move-in will cause heavy traffic in and around the campus this weekend. Bradley Police Chief Brian Joschko says more officers will be available to keep things moving, especially on Saturday when a majority of students will be moving in.
“On that day, our entire department will be on campus throughout the day assisting with move-in, so we’ll have over 20 officers on duty making sure that traffic flows in and around the Bradley University area,” Joschko said.
Joschko says his department is working with Peoria Public Works
