The Boulder man U.S. Marshals arrested this month for drug and weapon charges was sentenced to five years in prison for distributing a controlled substance.

Gypsy McLellan, 43, was arrested Aug. 4 in Broomfield after failing to appear in court for three different drug and weapon cases. McLellan pleaded guilty in a plea deal to one count of distribution of a controlled substance. All other charges across five cases were dropped as part of the deal.

McLellan was sentenced to five years in the Department of Corrections, with 21 days credit for time served.
