Tammi Menendez isn't holding back.

After Erik Menendez 's request for parole was denied by the California Board of Parole Hearings after over 30 years in prison on Aug. 21, his wife reacted to the update.

"Parole Commissioner Robert Barton had his mind made up to deny Erik parole from the start," Tammi wrote on X following the decision. "This was a complete setup, and Erik never stood a chance! #Injustice."

She also called out Barton's reasoning for denying Erik's parole, which included past infractions in prison, like fights earlier in his prison sentence, as well as cellphone contraband.

Tammi wrote in another post, "Erik hasn't had any infractions since 2011, apart from a cell phone possession."
