HARTFORD, Conn. — Governor Ned Lamont said Friday that he is directing U.S. and state flags in Connecticut to be lowered to half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Saturday, Aug. 23, to honor Steve Kuczynski, an employee of the Connecticut Department of Developmental Services who died last week after he was injured on the job at the Southbury Training School in Southbury.

The lowering of flags is timed to coincide with the funeral service, which is scheduled for Saturday morning in Ansonia.
