The largest private employer in Pennsylvania is in the midst of renovating a number of its stores throughout the state.

On Friday morning, Walmart announced that its renovation project at its store at 698 Shrewsbury Commons Ave. in Shrewsbury Township, York County , has been completed.

“We’re so excited to offer our community an additional 150 feet of grocery assortment, an expanded Online Pickup & Delivery service, and double the amount of associate-manned registers,” Renee Lauthers, store manager of the Shrewsbury Walmart Supercenter, said in a news release.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony and community celebration were held at the store on Friday morning.
