A man linked to the death of a woman found in a field cannot be located by the courts.

The Orleans Parish District Attorney's Office is now trying to track him down. This is Thompson’s fourth missed appearance, and he is expected to be served.
Investigators say Thompson is the man who left Danielle Leviege in a Gentilly field after she overdosed.
After a WDSU investigation aired this year, prosecutors are seeking more jail time for Thompson under the habitual offender law.
Leviege died in 2021. Her mother says she was found in a Gentilly field “like a piece of trash.”
Earlier this year, her mother contacted WDSU seeking answers. She has been desperate for closure.
