BROOKFIELD, IL -- Guests at the Brookfield Zoo will soon have a new polar bear to view. Amelia Gray, an 8-year-old female polar bear is set to join the zoo in the coming weeks, the zoo announced this week.

Amelia will join the zoo’s two other polar bears, Hope and Hudson, in the “Great Bear Wilderness.” Zoo guests are expected to be able to view Amelia in the fall once she arrives from Oregon Zoo. Amelia has been described by those at Oregon Zoo as “playful and curious.”
