MASON CITY, Iowa — Residents near Nettle Avenue and 240th Street are being urged to lock their doors due to a police pursuit in the area, according to the Mason City Police Department.

Authorities have advised that if residents see anyone suspicious, they should call 911 immediately.

The department emphasized using caution, as it is unclear whether the individual is armed.
