ROCHESTER, Minn. — The Alzheimer’s Association is calling on residents to join the Walk to End Alzheimer’s event in Rochester on October 4 at Saint Mary’s University.

The event aims to raise $150,000 for dementia support and research.

“I walk in memory of my grandparents and in honor of the many families I work with every day who are impacted by Alzheimer’s. It’s a privilege to support them and to advocate for better care and resources through the Alzheimer’s Association,” said Mackenzie Snow. She has been active as a volunteer for the past two years.”The Alzheimer’s Association is a lifeline for so many from providing critical education and support, to advancing research and advocating for policy change. They help families during some of their hardest moments.”
