TAYLOR Swift is a tough act to follow as she transforms into the ultimate showgirl.

The Shake It Off singer, 35, wore bejewelled lingerie and feathered headgear for the third cover of her upcoming album The Life of A Showgirl .

In the racy photo, Taylor looks every inch a Las Vegas showgirl.

In another photo for the album, out October 3, she leans on a wall in a leotard.

Taylor, who wrote the album during her Eras Tour , said: “I’m so proud of it.

"It comes from the most joyful place in my life.”

The amazing photos were taken by photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, who Taylor also used for the album artwork for 2017's Reputation.

Taylor added that she "wanted to go all out" for her latest album, because she is "so proud"' of it.
