The body of a man found in Pine Lake in West Bloomfield Township several weeks ago has been identified, officials said.
As reported by the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, forensic lab analysts determined the body is that of Alfonce Capone Friday of Southfield. According to Friday’s mother who lived with him, Friday left their apartment on July 27 at around 11 p.m. and she hadn’t seen him since.
Friday’s clothed body was found floating in the lake near the 3200 block of Pine Lake Road on July 29, the sheriff’s office said.
Friday was 30 years old.
Autopsy results are pending, the sheriff’s office said.
