On Friday a warm and dry period is forecast to start in Western Washington, continuing into next week with some of the highest temperatures of the year. Temperatures could reach into the upper 80s or low 90s on Tuesday and slightly warmer on Wednesday, with overnight temperatures only cooling into the low to mid 60s, the National Weather Service's Seattle office said on July 10.
