YPSILANTI, MI — The Michigan Department of State has suspended operations of Ypsilanti-based Coach Richmond’s Driving School, but the driving school’s owner Aaron Richmond says alleged violations under investigation are ‘insufficient’ or ‘not correct."

State officials say the driving school was issued a summary suspension on Thursday, Aug. 21, following an initial investigation of potential violations of the state Driver Education Provider and Instructor Act, according to a release from the state.

"This whole thing has been blown out of proportion," Richmond told The Ann Arbor News/MLive.
