Most Albertans will pay $100 per dose of COVID-19 vaccine, part of a two-phase rollout announced Friday of a much-criticized provincial government policy on the immunizations.

Those who’ll be exempt from paying what the government is calling an administrative fee will be health care workers, those in continuing care homes, the unhoused, home care recipients, those 65 and older receiving the Alberta Seniors Benefit and the immuno-compromised.
