A festival will be held Aug. 30 and 31 at Prince's Island Park, with the first day for adults over 18 and the second day will be family friendly

Calgary Pride is kicking off a week of festivities with a flag-raising ceremony at city hall on Friday afternoon, with Indigenous leaders and city hall officials in attendance.

The theme of this year’s pride celebrations is “Bursting Into Bloom,” celebrating the diversity of the 2SLGBTQ+ community and the uniting factor of learning and growth.
