Calgary Pride is kicking off a week of festivities with a flag-raising ceremony at city hall on Friday afternoon, with Indigenous leaders and city hall officials in attendance.
The theme of this year’s pride celebrations is “Bursting Into Bloom,” celebrating the diversity of the 2SLGBTQ+ community and the uniting factor of learning and growth.
