FORT WORTH, Texas — In the end, it meant nothing in terms of the redistricting map.

Republicans easily passed the new congressional district boundaries once Democrats returned to the Texas House giving the lower chamber a quorum.

Republicans are now trying to figure out how they’ll punish the Democrats who left the state.

State Rep. John McQueeney , R-District 97, says all options are on the table at this point.

“I think that rule changes are necessary, but it may need to be in statute. I, honestly, don’t think that the minority party should be able to stop the work of the government. So, I’m in the camp of everything’s on the table,” Rep. McQueeney told us on Inside Texas Politics.
