BROWNSTOWN — Purdue Extension in Jackson County will launch Get WalkIN’ , a free, email-based walking program, on September 2 to help Hoosiers incorporate more physical activity into their daily lives.

The program is designed for individuals looking to improve their health but lacking the time or motivation to attend in-person classes. Participants will receive motivational and educational emails over a 12-week period — twice a week for the first month, then once a week for the remaining eight weeks.
