FALMOUTH, Ky. (WXIX) - A Northern Kentucky man has been indicted for the murder of a 53-year-old woman, according to Pendleton County court records.

David O’Hara, 54, is now in the Pendleton County jail, charged with stabbing 53-year-old Donna Gibson to death at his Falmouth home on Aug. 3, court documents say.

At the time of her death, Donna Gibson was staying with O’Hara, who was her long-time friend from high school, her ex-husband, John Gibson, tells FOX19 NOW.

John Gibson said he and Donna Gibson were legally separated, but planned on getting back together and moving to Florida.

“I was told that they got into it over me, and that’s why he did that to her,” John Gibson said.
