New video shows a woman who remains hospitalized with severe injuries nearly a month after authorities said she was brutally attacked by a man with a hammer at a Miami-Dade bus stop.

Mervin Geddis' wife, China, was rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital in critical condition back on July 25 and is still barely able to talk.

Geddis said he wants the community to see how their family has been forever changed.

His wife remains bedridden at Jackson Memorial Hospital with serious head injuries, at times mumbling while trying to communicate.

Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office officials said the 46-year-old woman was attacked at a bus stop on Northwest 27th Avenue near 95th Street.
