MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- President Donald Trump said in a Memphis radio show Friday that the National Guard strategy currently being tested in Washington, D.C. could be applied to tackle crime in Memphis.
In an interview with conservative radio host Todd Starnes, Trump was asked about crime in Memphis and mentioned a "test" in Washington, D.C. that involved the National Guard.
"We're doing sort of a test right now in DC. It's working unbelievably, much faster than we thought," said Trump.
