MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A former jailer was accused of bringing in vape pens and pills into the county jail in Coahoma County, Miss., on Friday.
On Aug. 22, Jeremiah Foster was taken into custody after being charged with Introduction of Contraband into a County Jail.
The Coahoma County Sheriff's Office said on May 28, deputies searched the jail employees entering the facility, and they found Foster had a variety of pills, vape pens, and other controlled substances.
The sheriff's office said he admitted to his involvement and motive for bringing contraband inside.
CCSO said his employment began on May 5.
