MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Southaven Police made two arrests at an annual sports meet and greet Thursday night at Southaven High School.

Officers were called last night to respond to a disturbance at Charger Stadium and what should have been an exciting event for the sports team and parents turned into a big disappointment.

"It's very disappointing cause I wanted to see my son come out there. It's his senior year and I mean they don't get the chance to do this again," said Chris Cupps, who's son plays football for the Southaven High School Chargers.

Cupps was looking forward to the annual meet and greet event called "Meet the Chargers."

"You're supposed to just see all the kids and what teams they're on and they come out on the field," he said.
