Jim Harbaugh doesn’t coach Michigan anymore but he’s still a target for Paul Finebaum.
The ESPN and SEC Network commentator tore into his old foe during the network’s “First Take” program this week, after the NCAA announced penalties against Harbaugh and the Michigan program for the Connor Stalions sign-stealing scandal.
“What Jim Harbaugh has done is highway robbery,” Finebaum said on the show, as reported by Sports Illustrated. “He stole a national championship. It’s as simple as that. He used Connor Stalions and then he lied and obfuscated. He misled. It’s truly beyond hypocrisy.”
The NCAA penalties, announced last Friday include a three-game suspension for head coach Sherrone Moore (two were self-imposed) and huge fines that could exceed $30 million.
