LAS VEGAS -- The father of Boston Celtics star and NBA champion Jaylen Brown was arrested Wednesday on accusations that he stabbed a man in Las Vegas.

Quenton Marselles Brown, 57, was charged with attempted murder and booked into the Clark County Detention Center on Thursday morning, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. He was being held on $300,000 bail after a court appearance Thursday.

Brown, a former professional boxer, is accused of stabbing another man after a “door ding” incident in a parking lot.
