Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love has a new target for the 2025 NFL season after the front office drafted Matthew Golden in the first round, 23rd overall, this past offseason. As a result, training camp and the preseason have allowed the two to develop chemistry.

The Packers have a lot of depth at the receiving group, but they don't have a No. 1 wideout that stands above the rest. This scenario allows Golden to potentially take that top spot among the receivers.

Heading into the new season, one of the storylines for the Packers will be whether Golden makes an immediate impact or whether there's a learning process as he transitions from college to the NFL.
