WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - The Sedgwick County Zoo is welcoming a fourth African elephant calf to its herd.

The zoo says first-time mom Zuberi safely gave birth to a female calf Friday morning in the company of other members of the herd. The new little one is named Dakari, meaning “one who brings happiness” in Swahili.
