The Quad Cities River Bandits minor league baseball team may have made a special form of history on Thursday night.

We’ve seen all sorts of hilarious player and manager ejections in America’s pastime, but what happened yesterday between the Quad Cities River Bandits and the Great Lakes Loons was another form of wild.

In the top half of the seventh inning, River Bandits catcher Canyon Brown was ejected for arguing with home plate Richy Arredondo during a mound visit, per Stephen Douglas of Sports Illustrated .

Quad Cities River Bandits manager Jesus Azuaje was ejected moments later for arguing a passed ball call with Arredondo. Azuaje believed that the batter fouled off the pitch, but the passed ball ruling allowed the Loons’ baserunner to advance to third.
