The new owner of Coronation Street ’s Underworld has been ‘rumbled’ by fans and it’s a returning soap legend. ‌

The iconic knicker factory has been a staple on the ITV soap since 1997 after being set up by Mike Baldwin (Johnny Briggs). Fast forward to 2007 and current owner Carla Connor (Alison King) took ownership and has been at the helm since. ‌

Over the years, several familiar faces have taken up a job at Underworld, including legends like Hayley Cropper (Julie Hesmondhalgh), Emily Bishop (Eileen Derbyshire) and Janice Battersby (Vicky Entwistle). ‌
