LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Football has been a struggle in recent years for the Lansing Eastern Quakers, with just a 1-26 record over the past three seasons. Jordan Morgan enters his eighth season as head coach with hopes for improvement and says the experience of this year’s team, with 10 seniors and 12 juniors, is raising expectations within the program.

“The seniors are the ones lifting people up, the seniors are the ones saying, ‘Hey, this year is going to be different,’” Morgan said. “We just have to put in the work.”

Eastern opens the season on August 28 vs. Eaton Rapids.
