POPLARVILLE, Miss. (WDAM) - A 37-year-old Pearl River County man was denied bail Thursday during his first court appearance on four counts of child exploitation of a child.

A post on the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department’s Facebook page said Robert Leslie Pullens had been arrested four days earlier following the execution of a search warrant.

PRCSD was assisted in Pullens’ arrest by personnel from the Gulfport Field Office on Homeland Security Investigations.

After appearing before Pearl River County Justice Court Judge Jason Hunt Thursday, Pullens was returned to the custody of Lenoir Rowell Criminal Justice Center.
