Clark County sheriff’s deputies arrested a 22-year-old man Thursday in connection with a Monday robbery of a U.S. Bank branch in the Orchards area.
Elijah Evans was arrested on suspicion of first-degree robbery with a firearm and two counts of felony harassment, according to a Friday news release from the sheriff’s office.
Deputies, with assistance from the Vancouver Police Department, located Evans about 9 p.m. Thursday at a residence in Orchards. Detectives searched the residence and found clothing worn during the robbery and cash taken from the bank, the news release states.
Deputies were dispatched to the bank robbery at 11:35 a.m. Monday at 6704 N.E. 117th Ave. The robber claimed to have a gun and then left the bank on a bicycle, according to a prior news release.
Evans was sche
