Minnesota Wild President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Bill Guerin announced Friday that the team has signed center Marco Rossi to a three-year, $15 million contract extension.
Rossi, 23, is coming off a season with career highs in goals (24), assists (36), and points (60). According to the Wild, he led the team in power-play goals and played all 82 games for the second straight year. Rossi also made his Stanley Cup Playoff debut, recording three points in six games.
The Austrian native was selected by the Wild in the first round of the 2020 NHL Draft and has accumulated 101 points in 185 career NHL games.
