WINNEBAGO COUNTY, Ill. (WTVO) — The Winnebago County Sheriff's Office bids farewell to one of its furry officers.

K9 Gunner was celebrated on Friday as he entered retirement.

Gunner has served the community since 2021.

He was a part of multiple police searches.
