VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Two days after more than 100 Virginia Beach public school employees filed a lawsuit against the superintendent, alleging he concealed double-digit health insurance premium hikes until after their contracts for the year had to be signed, the School Board announced it would hold a special meeting to discuss "health insurance premiums, employee healthcare costs and potential future steps."

The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27 at the school administration building at 2512 George Mason Dr.
