BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - One person has been arrested in a Birmingham attempted murder investigation.

According to police, officers were called to a Family Dollar in the 7300 block of 1st Avenue North on reports of the business being shot into Wednesday, Aug. 6.

When police arrived, they were told that a man had had become irate inside the store and discharged a firearm before leaving.

After reviewing video footage, 46-year-old Christopher Ceasar was identified as the suspect.

After reviewing information, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office issued warrants for attempted murder and shooting into an occupied business for Ceasar.

Police say Ceasar was taken into custody in the 8100 block of 2nd Avenue North and was booked into the Jefferson County Jail on a $75,000 bond.
