CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - One person is dead and two others were injured Friday night after a triple stabbing in south Charlotte, according to Medic.

Medic said on Friday, Aug. 22 just before 10:30 p.m. that they responded to the Lynx Station on East Boulevard and Camden Road in regards to a stabbing.

Medic pronounced one person dead at the scene, another person was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and a third person was transported with minor injuries.

It is unclear if someone has been arrested or what may have led up the stabbing at the time of this writing.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating.
