PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. — Two pedestrians were hit by a vehicle while crossing the Parkway in Pigeon Forge, according to police.
The crash happened around 9:37 p.m. at the intersection of the Parkway and Wears Valley Road, the Pigeon Forge Police Department said.
The pedestrians were attempting to cross the northbound lanes but were not in a crosswalk when they were hit, according to PFPD.
One pedestrian was taken to LeConte Medical Center, while the other was transported to the University of Tennessee Medical Center, PFPD said. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
