Biscuits Pitcher Owen Wild grew up playing baseball in Washington, and he loved the game from the beginning.

“I grew up playing little league, tee ball and all that in Sacramento. Then, when I was in third grade I think we moved up to Washington State and that’s where I kind of played my little league and my travel ball and what not,” explains Wild.

Throughout high school, baseball was not the only thing that Owen participated in. Interestingly enough, he followed in his brother’s footsteps and took up the sport of water polo.

“I got thrown in the pool, and I didn’t learn how to tread water for about a year and a half. So I was in there just trying not to drown, and obviously I had a good arm from playing baseball, so I could shoot the water polo ball. My freshman and sophomore years my
