NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Just over 5% of the North Little Rock School District's students are homeless, and with food insecurity persisting as a real issue that Arkansas families have been facing the last few years, NLRSD has worked to provide families with a pantry.
The pantry will be a place for families to get items that they need.
Lenaita Hushes is a Wraparound Specialist with North Little Rock School District. She said that the pantry is a place for families to come and get the items the need for their students.
