ARKANSAS, USA — Football season is here and if you’re an Arkansas Razorback fan, it’s your favorite time of the year.
But for one superfan, football season will look a lot different this year as he roots on the Hogs.
Chris Olsen, a huge Razorback fan will unfortunately spend this football season undergoing chemotherapy and battling glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer.
It’s a tough situation to be in, as football has been Olsen’s passion for as long as he can remember.
“I grew up in a sports family,” Olsen said. “My parents were both educators and teachers.”
Olsen was a standout athlete in basketball and football in high school in New Jersey, and said that sports have always been what kept him motivated Razorback superfan Chris Olsen tackles brain cancer while cheering on
