CLOVIS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A Clovis animal officer rescued a kitten trapped inside a vehicle, according to the Clovis Animal Services on Friday.

Animal Control Officer Uribe rescued a kitten that was found inside a car engine parked outside a home in Clovis.

The kitten was difficult to find, and the officer used various tools to find the kitten and take it out. As soon as the kitten ran and got out of the engine, the officer caught it with a net, and the kitten was transported to the Clovis Animal Receiving and Care Center for intake.

There, the kitten received vaccines and flea treatments and is now waiting for its neuter appointment. Animal services says once that's done, the kitten will be sent to Miss Winkles for adoption.
