Two area men were killed in crashes in northeastern Oklahoma on Friday, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.
Troopers said Gary Dittman, 67, of Broken Arrow, was fatally injured in a two-vehicle crash involving a truck on the Will Rogers Turnpike near Claremore about 3:10 p.m. They did not report details of the crash but indicated that Dittman was not wearing a seat belt.
The truck driver reportedly was not injured.
In the other crash Friday, Scott N. House, 60, of Delaware, Oklahoma, was killed when he failed to yield from a stop sign on Oklahoma 10 in Nowata County and hit a vehicle that was southbound on U.S. 169 about 5:45 p.m., the OHP reported.
Troopers said he was not wearing a seat belt.
