The World's Largest Rubber Duck returned to Tall Ships Erie on Aug. 22 and has landed near Pier 6.

"I’ve been producing Tall Ships for a long time, and Billy Sabatini and I have been friends for over a decade now," Craig Samborski, owner and creator of the World's Largest Rubber Duck said. "When they asked me to bring the duck back I was absolutely happy to come to Erie. It’s one of my favorite places."

Mama Duck first visited Erie in 2016 , with Baby Duck following in 2019 .

How did the World's Largest Rubber Duck come to be?

Samborski, who produced Tall Ship festivals in California in the past, was challenged by a friend to "go big or go home" and create a massive rubber duck 11 years ago.
