University of South Carolina defensive line coach Travian Robertson was hospitalized Friday after he was involved in a serious car crash, according to the school.
ESPN reported that the 36-year-old Robertson was hospitalized “with a significant lower leg injury.”
Robertson played defensive tackle for the Gamecocks from 2007 through 2011.
“He is currently in stable condition,” South Carolina said in a statement about Robertson. “We expect him to make a full recovery and be back out on the field soon. Please keep the families of those involved in the accident in your prayers and respect the Robertson family’s privacy during this time.”
