HUDSON, MI – This rural state park will soon host the Great Outdoors Jamboree , allowing visitors to sample activities like archery, BB shooting, kayaking and more.
The jamboree is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 7, at Lake Hudson Recreation Area near Hudson in Lenawee County.
It will be a celebration of Michigan’s great outdoors will multiple vendors coming together to display, discuss, demonstrate and give hands-on instruction in a variety of recreational activities.
Attendees can watch pointing dog demonstrations, try archery and BB gun shooting or make outdoor crafts. They can also try kayaking, fishing, birding and other hands-on activities.
The event is free to attend. However, a Michigan Recreation Passport is required for entry into the park. For Michiga
