Pursuant to Local Government Code Section 152.013, this notice is published to advise the public that the Brown County Commissioner’s Court proposes to increase the following elected official’s salaries or expenses beginning October 1, 2025.

County Attorney 5%

County Clerk 5%

County Treasurer 5%

District Clerk 5%

County Tax Assessor/Collector 5%

County Sheriff 5%

County Constables Pct. 1,2,3,4 5% plus $4500 certification pay

County Commissioners Pct. 1,2,3,4 5% plus $6600 increase in expenses

Justice of the Peace Pct. 1,2,3,4 $6212 increase
