Barcelona finalizing key defender's contract renewal before transfer window closes

Barcelona are looking good with their contract renewal plan led by sporting director Deco as players like Pedri, Gavi, Raphinha and Lamine Yamal have all signed new contracts.

Apart from them, Jules Kounde has recently signed an extension with Frenkie De Jong also in line to put pen to paper to extend his stay at Camp Nou.

Which leaves only Spain international Eric Garcia, who has grown into an important player for Hansi Flick's outfit. However, his current contract expires in 2026.

According to reports via SPORT , Barcelona are looking to renew Garcia's contract before the summer transfer window closes.
