For Rebecca Haro , the final hours before 7-month-old son Emmanuel Haro 's disappearance felt surprisingly mundane.

She was at a park in Yucaipa, Calif., with her baby boy, his father Jake Haro and their two other kids around 7 p.m. on Aug. 14 for their older son’s football practice, she told KTLA 5 . Afterwards, she continued, she drove to a nearby Big 5 Sporting Goods store with Emmanuel to purchase a mouthguard and noticed his diaper needed to be changed, laying him next to his car seat to clean him up.
